Bardentreffen Festival 2026

The Bardentreffen is a three-day open-air music festival that takes place every summer in Nuremberg.
It’s a meeting place for world music, blues, folk, soul, and pop: around 70 bands—from international stars to exciting newcomers—provide a diverse program.

Location: Nuremberg Old Town (Main Market Square, Flea Market, Lorenzer Square, Sebalder Square, Katharinenruine).

Admission: Free.

Program: International artists and newcomers, diverse music styles, children’s program on Schütt Island.

Brückenfestival

The festival is free and open to everyone! The Brückenfestival offers various types of entertainment, primarily music but also other forms of pop culture. It lasts two days and is organized by the Brückenfestival e.V.

The Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt

The most famous Christmas market opens on November 27 at 5:30 p.m. with the festive prologue of the Christ Child.

Typical delicacies such as mulled wine, gingerbread, and bratwurst rolls await visitors. Those looking for a little more international flavor should definitely stop by the “Twin Cities Market” north of the main market.
