From 5 to 7 October
Nürnberg Pop Festival
The festival, which plays different locations throughout the city, is one of the largest in southern Germany. Both international and national artists are represented and offer something for everyone, from musical discoveries to classics.
From 17 to 29 October
NUEJAZZ
The 10th NUEJAZZ Festival takes place again in mid-October in Nuremberg, Fürth and Erlangen. International newcomers and established acts of the jazz scene present jazz across genres. The urban festival is aimed at young and old.
From 1 to 24 December
Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt
The probably most famous Christkindlesmarkt opens on 1.12 at 17:30 with the solemn prologue of the Christkind.
Typical delicacies such as mulled wine, gingerbread and fried sausage sandwiches await. If you’re looking for a little more international specialties, be sure to stop by the “Market of the Twin Cities,” north of the main market.
