Our hotel is located in the heart of the city center. The easiest way to reach us by subway is via Lorenzkirche station. From there it is only a 5-minute walk.
Directly under the hotel we have the public parking garage “Parken im Augustinerhof”. This is not exclusively for our hotel guests, but offers 170 parking spaces, so there is usually always a space available. However, there may be waiting times, especially at peak times at the weekend or during the Christkindlesmarkt. There are also four e-charging stations in the underground car park. All parking spaces are extra wide (2.60m) and access is possible up to a height of 2.10m. Hotel guests can also park at a reduced rate.

The Augustinerhof has a total of 4 dining options in the immediate vicinity. The Restaurant Brasserie Nitz with French and international cuisine (breakfast is also served here), the Fine Dining Restaurant Tisane, the Café Pique Nique and the Bonbon Ice Cream Bar.
At Brasserie Nitz you can enjoy drinks and the bar menu at the bar until midnight from Tuesday to Saturday. Otherwise we offer a small selection of drinks and snacks at the reception.
No, we do not offer room service in our rooms. In the Brasserie Nitz you can also have lunch or dinner in addition to breakfast. The bar is open until midnight and offers a bar menu as well as various cocktails and drinks.
The Hotel Karl August is ideal for family vacations. Depending on the age of your child, you can either book a spacious room with a sofa bed or order an extra baby bed. Otherwise, we also recommend our Family Suite, which offers a total of 4 beds.
No, for reasons of sustainability we do not offer a minibar in the rooms. If you expressly wish, we offer a fridge in our suites and apartments. For a cool drink, we recommend our Brasserie Nitz bar or you can get chilled drinks directly at the reception.
Yes, we offer a total of 20 apartments/suites in different categories, with fully equipped kitchenettes. These are equipped with a hob, fridge, Nespresso coffee machines incl. hot water function, pots, cutlery and also a pasta strainer and salt and pepper.

We recommend parking directly in the public underground parking garage below the hotel (subject to availability). Our hotel guests can park there at reduced rates, right in the center of Nuremberg. We recommend taking the subway to the trade fair. The Lorenzkirche station is only about 5 minutes away from our hotel and the U1 underground line runs regularly to the exhibition center in just 10 minutes (journey time around 12 minutes).

We offer a room in our hotel that can be used for meetings for up to 8 people. Otherwise, we cooperate with “Josephs” here at the Augustinerhof. There are a total of three rooms there for up to 50 people. There is also an event area for up to 60 people in the Deutsches Museum Nuremberg. We will also be happy to advise you on finding a suitable conference location for your stay at our hotel.
