SUSTAINABILITY
Our mission for the Karl August
Living sustainability is crucial for us. As for example with our “Mugge-Bank”. This seating furniture consists of as few raw materials as possible and all materials come from the region. Regionality but also seasonality plays an important role in the selection of products for breakfast. The Karl August is an individual hotel. For us, this also means consciously questioning the conventional and the familiar and daring to try something new. Therefore, we have decided, for example, to use only the refillable products of the Retterspitz brand in the rooms and to do without small disposable products.
We are pleased that our commitment has now been officially recognized: We are certified with the GreenSign label and have achieved over 80% on the sustainability baromter.
