    Welcome to Karl August, dear four-legged friend.

    We have prepared a little something for you in the room, so that your stay will be as nice as the stay of your owner.

    Should you ever stay alone in the room, we ask you to hang out the “Nope” sign. In this case we cannot offer room service.

    If you need anything else or have any questions, our reception is at your disposal.


    The concept of Karl August is based on a sustainable and regional use of all resources and materials.
    We can therefore show many small and also large examples where we already act in this sense. Nevertheless, our next goal is the official certification as a GreenSign Hotel in 2024.

    To be able to implement these values in the rooms as well, we rely on your help.
    Please remember to swipe your card when you leave your room.
    If you have plugged in electronic devices for charging, the card must remain inserted. However, we ask that you turn off the TV and lights.

    In order to save resources, we have introduced a so called “Bleibereinigung”. This takes effect on request from 2 nights and means that rooms are only cleaned every 2 days.
    If you want to change this later, just let us know at the reception.

    As far as towels are concerned, the same applies as everywhere else: a towel on the floor will be exchanged, towels that are hanging will not be changed.

    For energy saving reasons we do not offer telephones and minibars in the rooms.
    If you need a refrigerator, we recommend you one of our apartments, which are equipped with a fully equipped kitchenette.
